Top finding: The mean GPA gap (3.78 vs 3.89) is almost entirely driven by ~7 outliers below 3.5. Among applicants with GPA ≥ 3.5 the gap shrinks to just 3.87 vs 3.90 — statistically present but far more modest. Transfer origin and major type show more distinct patterns. The one CSU respondent sees the navbar; all 5 Private/OOS respondents do not.
